Day Trip Coach Hire Questions, Answered
Whether you’re planning a corporate event, airport transfer, school trip, wedding, or private tour, we’ve answered the most common questions to help you book with confidence.
Does the driver wait for us at the destination?
Yes – for most day trips your driver and coach stay on site or nearby, ready for your agreed return time. Waiting time is included in your fixed quote, and if your plans shift slightly on the day, just speak to your driver.
Can we eat and drink on board?
Soft drinks and snacks are fine on board. For alcohol, just ask when booking – we can often accommodate it for adult groups with some sensible ground rules.
Can we change the itinerary on the day?
Minor timing tweaks are usually fine – just agree them with your driver. Bigger route changes may affect the price, so let us know as early as possible.
Can you do multiple pickup points?
Yes – we regularly collect groups from several villages, pubs or workplaces en route. List the pickups in your quote request and we’ll plan the most efficient order.
How far can we go in one day?
Further than you’d think – but driver hours rules apply for everyone’s safety. Tell us your destination and we’ll confirm honestly whether it works as a day trip or is better as an overnight tour.
